Who we are
The Basketball Club (TBC) is a basketball training academy run by RAW Edge Performance in Perth, Western Australia. Questions about your information go to book@thebballclub.au.
What we keep
- The member’s name and a 4 digit PIN. The PIN is stored scrambled, so nobody can read it, including the coach.
- Home workouts the member logs: date, week and shooting scores.
- Coach comments and the member’s shooting stage.
- Shooting clips the member uploads, only if a parent allowed video uploads.
- The parent or guardian’s name and email, their consent choices and the date they gave consent.
If you pay online, the payment company handles your card details. We never see your card number.
Why we keep it
- To run training and show the member their own progress.
- So the coach can give feedback on workouts and clips.
- To send the weekly reminder email, only if a parent turned it on.
Who can see it
Only the member and the coach. Other members cannot see anyone else’s profile, workouts or clips. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
The hub is hosted by Vercel, and reminder emails are sent through an email service. They store or send the information for us and may keep it on servers outside Australia.
Video clips
Clips are saved at long, random web links that are not listed anywhere. Anyone who has the exact link could open it, so please do not share clip links. The member or the coach can delete a clip at any time from the profile page, and the file is removed.
Cookies and other services
The hub uses one cookie to keep you signed in. There is no advertising tracking. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts and background video from Pexels, which can see your device’s internet address when the page loads.
Changing or removing your information
- Change the optional choices (video uploads, weekly email) on the parent consent page at any time.
- Stop reminder emails with the link at the bottom of any reminder.
- Email book@thebballclub.au to see, correct or delete the member’s information, or to close the account.
